A lot of my friends often ask me about which equipment I use. It only makes sense that I document it here so they can all do a quick search and get my opinion. For my home router and VPN, I use the Synology RT2600AC router with built-in VPN.
It’s great for remotely logging in to my home pc from my laptop while I’m away from home. Setting it up is relatively easy compared to other VPN solutions. The configuration screen is really nice, as is the rest of the software. There’s a ton of functionality that I haven’t even explored yet. It’s a combination of great hardware and software that make this router stand out among competitors.
